My Oil Heater installation......and nose heat dump. Roughed out except scat tubes. Click to ENLARGE.
Retracting front gear and gear opening doors. Auto-closing and opening.
Lynn Erickson helped me with my gear door design . It is pretty much what he did. My attitude pretty much always is, if it works..why try to fix it? Actually Lynn has been A LOT of help, and my hats is definitely off to him. A great guy.
Below is the hanging rudder pedals I designed and worked up. The lowers are ramped so that the pedals push-points increase in relative height to the fuselage floor. If you look at how your extended foot articulates in this ergonomic position, this ramp idea makes sense. In the photo one of the machined delrin sleeves (there are 3 total) is peeking out which provide the smooth internal bearing, instead of relying on just a tube in a tube grinding together as I believe Velocity has. There's another photo on the site of how these are captured side to side, and mounted in the nose. Also my brake linkage that is unique, to achieve the required 2.5:1 Matco mechanical leverage.

Changing out my electric Noselift.
I decided a while back to sell my existing electric noselift and build a more powerful noselift like Jack Morrison has had in his last two planes. Very capable of lifting the plane with both front seats filled, which my original noselift would not do. I will post pics as I complete this. My brake mounts are attached per the sketch.
